Tuesday of 3rd Week of Easter - Vianney Performance - Pictures from the Neophyte Mass

TUESDAY AFTER THE THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER
O God, who open wide the gates of the heavenly Kingdom to those reborn of water and the Holy Spirit, pour out on your servants an increase of the grace you have bestowed, that having been purged of all sins, they may lack nothing that in your kindness you have promised. Through our Lord.

ONE MAN-SHOW "VIANNEY" EXTRAORDINARY!

Leonardo de Filippis does a masterful job in engaging his audience in the story of St. Jean Marie Vianney, the Cure of Ars.  Some four hundred persons--young and old--were mesmerized last evening at Holy Redeemer Parish in Kanata.

Tonight at 7:30 in St. Patrick's Basilica the second and last performance in the Archdiocese of Ottawa will take place.  If you can attend, don't miss it!

Later on in Eastern Canada there will be performances in the dioceses of Saint John and Charlottetown and in the Archdioceses of Moncton and Halifax.

NEOPHYTE MASS & SANCTUARY TOUR

Every year, following the Neophyte Mass, it is my privilege and joy to invite those initiated into the faith at the Easter Vigil, their families and friends and any attending the 7:30 PM Sunday Mass at the Cathedral to join me in an explanation of the works of art in Notre Dame Basilica's sanctuary and sacristy.  There is also a chance for the neophytes and others to pose for photos.

Here are a few photos from Sunday evening, courtesy of Heri Riesbeck, master photographer:
