From the
Companions of the Cross website:
What was
your background before you joined the CC?
I am from Kamloops, B.C. I entered into full communion with the Catholic Church
in 1987. I was active in youth ministry and served with NET Youth Ministries
before entering the Companions of the Cross in 1989. I have a BA in History
from Carleton University and a Master’s degree in Divinity from St. Augustine’s
Seminary and the University of Toronto. I was ordained in 1995. I love touring
on my motorcycle, and am an ardent fan of the Vancouver Canucks, B.C. Lions,
and Minnesota Vikings!
What led
you to join this community?
I joined the Companions of the Cross because of key elements of its
vision: unquestioned fidelity to the Church, life-giving brotherhood, openness
to the ways of the Holy Spirit, love for the Blessed Mother, and its
evangelical mission.
What kind
of ministry are you doing now?
I was elected General Superior of the Society in 2006, was re-elected in 2012,
and am presently still serving in this assignment.
Welcome to the Military Ordinariate! We have been praying for you. Lise H (Trenton)
