Grant, we pray, almighty God, that by Saint Joseph's intercession your Church may constantly watch over the unfolding of the mysteries of human salvation, whose beginnings you entrusted to his faithful care. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

SAINT PATRICK'S CELEBRATION
Today we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Joseph, the Primary Patron of the Archdiocese of Ottawa (St. Joseph is also the patron of the Universal Church and of Canada).
The festive Eucharist at Notre Dame Cathedral at 5:15PM this afternoon will be offered as a Mass of Thanksgiving for the Election of the new Bishop of Rome and Pope Francis of the Universal Church.
On Saturday, Solemnity of St. Patrick, the Secondary Patron of the Archdiocese was honoured at a Solemn Mass at St. Patrick's Basilica, followed by a brunch in the Scavi.
