New Chaldean Eparchial Bishop in Canada * * * * * Nouvel évêque éparchial de Mar Addai au Canada

Today it was announced in Rome that the Most Reverend Bawai Soro, Protosyncellus (the chief deputy of a bishop) of the Chaldean Catholic Church of the Eparchy of St. Peter the Apostle of San Diego,  has been appointed as new Eparchial Bishop of the Mar Addai Chaldean Eparchy of  Toronto, Canada.

Until the new Eparchial Bishop takes canonical possession of the Eparchy, the Most Rev. Francis Kalabat, Eparchial Bishop of St. Thomas the Apostle of Detroit of the Chaldeans, will remain the Apostolic Administrator sede vacante of the Mar Addai Chaldean Eparchy of Canada.

Aujourd’hui à Rome on a annoncé que Mgr Bawai Soro a été nommé comme nouvel évêque éparchial de l’éparchie chaldéenne Mar Addai du Canada.

En attendant que le nouvel évêque éparchial prenne possession de l’éparchie, Mgr Francis Kalabat, actuellement évêque éparchial de Saint-Thomas l’apôtre des Chaldéens de Détroit, continuera d’être l’administrateur apostolique sede vacante de l’éparchie chaldéenne Mar Addai du Canada.
