Today I leave Ottawa for a change of scene: some time at the cottage with my sister and her husband (soon to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary), a week's retreat and, finally, a few days with my family in Montreal followed by some time with friends in Toronto area, the whole culminating in the celebration with brother Jesuits of St. Ignatius Day on July 31 in Guelph.
Between times, there will be a couple of days in Ottawa to sign papers, have a brief consultation and attend the closing banquet and closing Mass of the Ontario CWL in the Alexandria-Cornwall diocese.
Blogging will be random: some saints days, Sunday reflections and posting of photos of quite a few recent events that, due to the pressure of other notices, have not appeared on the blog.
Regular activity will resume after the Knights of Columbus Supreme Convention in Washington, DC (August 2-4).
